Robotics Engineer
To become a Robotics Engineer for Burton Industries, you must have demonstrated knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) systems, basic programming skills, and mechanical aptitude, in addition to being experienced in the integration and construction of automation machinery in a variety of operations. A Robotics Engineer will be responsible for designing the robotic interface that integrates the robot into the system and related components. Other titles/positions for a Robotics Engineer include: Robotics Test Engineers or Automation System Engineers.

A Robotics Engineer for Burton Industries understands the science of robotics, their microprocessors-which control their tasks, as well as automation and production machinery concepts. A Controls Engineer or Robotics Engineer will generally need a bachelor's degree to enter this field. A 4-year degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required for consideration.
Robotics Programmer
To become a Robotics Programmer for Burton Industries, you must have demonstrated knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) systems, basic programming skills, and mechanical aptitude, in addition to being experienced in the integration and construction of automation machinery in a variety of operations. A Robotics Programmer will be responsible for the software and/or path teach programming of the operational robotics as a custom solution for a customer’s need, one that increases productivity and reduces cycle time. With a wide variety of applications, our Robotics Programmer works as part of the hands-on Burton Industries team to determine each customer’s specific need and customize the robot’s movement accordingly. A Robotics Programmer will generally need a bachelor's degree to enter this field. A 4 year degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required for consideration.
Project Manager
The project manager position requires superior organizational skills, keen attention to detail, customer relationship management skills, and overall team-oriented philosophy. A 4 year degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required for consideration. The project manager will take responsibility for the entire project from inception to completion focusing on customer satisfaction, project timeliness, and budgeting.

A Mechanical and Electrical Controls Engineer designs and integrates systems spanning across multiple disciplines. Our engineers are trained to integrate a variety of equipment, therefore meeting a customer’s specifications. Engineers are required to utilize computer-aided design (CAD) systems to communicate their design to manufacturing. A Controls Engineer will develop their own machine interface software as well as machine code on a variety of platforms. Software platforms include Allen Bradley, Siemens and GE to name a few. Strong verbal communication skills are required to convey their designs to both manufacturing and to customers. A 4 year degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent is required for Controls Engineer employment consideration.
Sales Professionals
Experienced Sales professionals are encouraged to apply. The candidate must have a demonstrated track record of success, experience in robotic automation solution selling, mechanical/technical aptitude, and a demonstrated commitment to long-term customer relationships. A 4-year college degree in a technical discipline is required for consideration.
